Student Government
The Student Government at Excel Christian Academy provides students with the opportunity to actively engage in school leadership and serve their peers and community. Through this club, students will develop leadership skills, collaborate with faculty and staff, and represent the voice of the student body. Members will help plan school events, promote school spirit, and address student concerns while fostering a positive, Christ-centered school environment. Participation in Student Government encourages personal growth, teamwork, and a deeper understanding of civic responsibility. Open to students in grades 9-12, the club meets bi-weekly to discuss initiatives, plan activities, and work on service projects that align with the mission and values of our school.

Sponsor Description
I chose to be the advisor for student government because student government teaches students how to be great leaders professionally and in their community. I served on student government at Atlanta Metropolitan College and Kennesaw State University. The leadership skills I gained were transferrable to the workforce and the community. I truly believe that student government assists students with finding their voice and helps mold their leadership style and wanted to be a part of that at Excel Christian Academy, helping students become the best versions of themselves that they can be!
