Before applying for admission, you might be interested in arranging for a tour of the school and having your child “shadow” a student for a day. Tours may be arranged for any school day; shadows will be arranged for regular academic days. Party days, exam days, etc. are not the best days to shadow.
Students applying for admissions must submit the following:
Submit immunization records.
Submit academic, attendance, and discipline records from the present school.
Submit available standardized test scores (ITBS, CRCT, Georgia Milestones, etc.).
Submit two confidential teacher recommendations from school currently attending.
Schedule a parent interview with the prospective student and the principal. (A separate interview with just the student may be requested for students entering grades 7-12.
Students who have been in programs with behavior or learning disorders are ineligible for admission due to the lack of services provided in this area by ECA.
Students entering must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA in core academic subjects and satisfactory standardized test scores.
